Parents of 7th and 6th grade. We are about an hour and half from the schools. 6th graders and students that have siblings in both grades will be picked up at EY. 7th graders will be picked up at Burnsville Elementary
Good evening, all students that are attending the field trip will be picked up as follows: Sixth graders and students with siblings in the 6th or 7th grade, will be picked up at East Yancey. Students in 7th grade will be picked up at Burnsville Elementary. As a reminder, students need to dress appropriately for the weather, bring sunscreen, and have on good walking shoes. Students that are bringing their lunch, need to remember to pack a good hearty lunch as this is going to be a fun but long day

Good evening, this is Mr. Byland with some updates for the week from East Yancey.
We will have our Reading and Cupcakes night on Tuesday at 5pm. Come on out and enjoy a cupcake.
From our sports section:
We are having a Panther Student Section for volleyball on Wednesday. Students will be able to pay $5, stay after school then go to the game that evening. Cost includes a slice of pizza, drink, and admission to the game. Volleyball is at Cane River on Monday and at home on Wednesday. Soccer is Avery Tuesday. JV Football is at Cherokee.
